Hello UR players, After our last change, the meta changed a lot due to the many new cards that were introduced. The Z Palace environment still has to stabilize itself, and we cannot clearly identify any real dominant clan. About single cards, the only one with a too high match winrate was Greendy, that was also used a lot as a splash. We decided to return her to the Z Palace bans. We would like to keep observing the meta for another week before doing any substantial change to most used clans. We decided to only restore a few Polit Arena cards for some of the least played clans. This aims both to equilibrate the cards every clan has access to (we would like every clan to have access to at least 5 choices per level. Ideally, 6 2*, 6 3*, 5 4* and 5 5*), both to restore cards that we think may have a good impact of the meta. Another reason why we made this change, is that the recent ‘soft reset' change made old cards playable in a very limited number of zones. Thanks to this change, those cards will be playable for a longer time by a larger pool of players, and the first two mentioned issues will be naturally solved. As the number of playable cards is doubled, it's possible that some cards or combination of cards will be too dominant. Having a weekly banlist will help us to prevent any issue to affect the season. This Banlist will affect Polit Arena and Z Palace. No changes are done to the banned cards of zones lower than Polit Arena. No changes are done to the rewards or the points system. Last but not least, tomorrow a thematic pack will be available for 12 hours only, featuring ALL the cards of the new Z Palace: a great chance to get your hands on the strongest cards that just made their comeback to Z Palace! Hello Clint City! Just a quick note to tell you about the planned closure of Arcade V1 mode, scheduled for November 19th 2018, at around 9am (GMT+1). This closure will apply to WebGL, Desktop and STEAM versions. You'll have 1 extra month on mobile versions. The closure also includes the end of the Arcade missions. This version will make way for V2, with a good deal of surprises in store. And for those of you who have already bought the seasons, you won't lose out. Hi Everyone, The new EFC season kicks off today! Start date: 05/11 End date: 02/12 A little update to the list of EFC bans could take place later in the week. Stay tuned! Weekly Z Palace top 10 card reward: McLain (Week 1, 2), Crook (Week 3, 4) Following our latest EFC rehaul, we have a new update: - The EFC zones are now twice as extensive - Points you lose in the event of inactivity will be doubled These changes are designed to help experienced Z Palace players find suitable opponents, as the more points you have, the harder it is to move up. New players will also be in a better position to easily find players of their own level. With the soft reset, the route to Z Palace had become a bit too short and as a result, some players were able to reach it after having only played a few hours a week. We want Z Palace to be a bit more exclusive and difficult to reach, and this update is aimed at doing just that. Now over to you to try it out!

The situation then got worse when Gruber, the new member of the Clint City jet-set, bought out Dorian's TV channel, forcing him to meekly obey orders. Well, that was the last straw for Dorian! And as no one came to his defense, he felt he had no choice but to leave town… Kerry has always been a difficult “pawn” for the Eye to manage. To be able to plan all manner of attacks and sabotage on their terms, without this meddling Rescue member, would undoubtedly save them time. So, one fine day, the Eye decide to do away with her once and for all, and set everything up by faking a call from Scott. Knowing where to hit where it hurt, they managed to get Kerry out of the picture by staging her kidnapping. But just how will the Rescue clan react to Kerry's disappearance? Since the incident at Bloodh Cr's tavern, Scylla has halted production of the little surveillance robot, #Drorb. Neither having served any use during the brawl, nor having spotted the previously hidden pillz, the daughter of the dead Emperor decided to withdraw this unit from the destruction plans of the Rebellion. Anyway, they're all set to be recycled for another clan project... Dragan is a very special card, both in terms of the game's history and its distribution. This card, released straight from the SOLEIL editions, was supposed to be distributed as a limited edition, and because of this, our veteran from the Earth Alliance's elite army corps should soon obtain his Mythical status! Hello Clint City, After weeks of work on webGL and the website, we've decided it would be better to adjust our initial schedule. As a result, we're going to delay the DRAFT mode in order to prioritize the Steam and Mobile versions. This will allow us to really sort out the game from start to finish. The Draft mode, initially scheduled for Halloween, will be delayed for another important reason: with the fight phase now being in real time, we will soon be able to integrate the much-awaited 2V2 mode as well as spectator mode. Our plans have not changed, but we feel we first need to get everything properly in order, before moving on to new features. Hi there, Urban Rivals players, We're still keeping an eye on how the new “Survivor Type 3” format is evolving. With this in mind, we'd like to try out a little change over the next few weeks: Your Deck cannot contain less than 10 characters. The sum of the characters levels in your Deck must be at least 35. Your Deck cannot contain any double characters. The T3 was introduced to promote deck diversity, by preventing players from always relying on the same cards from each clan, and by encouraging them to discover new options. However, the main problem highlighted is that with 12 cards, luck is too much of a factor in the draws, which sometimes prevents players drawing cards on which they've based strategy. This change from 12 to 10 cards should be a good compromise, in that it offers more variety than in T2, while minimizing the luck factor during matches. The T3 format will remain without bans, but more restrictions will be temporarily added during theme weekends. Happy gaming!

Hello Clint City, We have a whole lot of new features to share with you today. As you will have noted, the website has been revamped in various ways and on most pages, which means that they should all be more effective. We have decided to make the homepage more lively and pleasant to read, both on PC and mobile platforms. You will also notice that the shop's structure has been redesigned: it is more user friendly and provides intuitive navigation. The packs are now all put together; the Collector pack is purchasable against CRypto only, and credits are available below if you wish to recharge. There are 3 innovations with respect to these credits: security is improved by the 3D secure system, debit cards (for instance, Maestro) are now allowed and another payment method that has long been requested is finally available - the prepaid Paysafecard. We will leave you to discover those yourselves. Concerning the game itself, the WebGL version (currently preferred) has also been simplified: navigation is made more intuitive so as to go straight to the heart of the matter, i.e. the fight. In this regard, we took into account your feedback with respect to the elements layout, the design and sound. We have chosen to create a blend of new and old school in order to rediscover the unique spirit of Urban. The cards' design has been reworked and the clan backgrounds have been replaced by arenas or sort of gameboards. You will have guessed that these arenas will be themed around the Clans, the very first of which - the “The Street” - is offered to you. The following ones will be purchasable in skins and will contain: the HQ, the sound environment and KO animation. This means we've brought the latter back but it will be different from previous versions. In fact, each player will be able to display their skin during battle, the separation being indicated by the crack in the ground. The next arena will be released for Halloween and the subsequent gameboards will become more and more diversified and insane, just like Clint City. Remember that the WebGL will be given precedence once again due to an increased number of visitors on this platform. For that matter, the Draft mode will be available exclusively on that version whereas the mobile version is initially planned for October. Lastly, an important reminder: starting today, the CRypto is in place throughout the game. You may try your luck in getting your hands on Marshal or Globumm! Overwhelmed by too many memories, Globumm wormed his way through to the Riots clan in order to test Newell's experimental dimensional cabins… He then took his place at the bottom of one of the contraptions and fumbled clumsily to get it started. What Globumm didn't know was that he was in fact in a huge microwave oven and about to get cooked at full power. Once in his lab, Newell would be in for a pleasant surprise... Upon learning about the return of the ruthless “Angel Eye”, Marshal decided to bypass Lynch to go and find his resting place. When he reached Purgatory, he took advantage of one of Lynch's long breaks to sneak past him into the corridor leading to multiple exits... His badass image prompted him to pick the darkest one. Now that he was on the other side, nothing seemed that different. It was like being back in Clint City on a rainy day... As he looked up he noticed a sort of “jellyfish” hooked up to the buildings by huge organic tentacles. Impressed by the size of the thing, Marshal fainted... These two characters have made the choice of leaving us... get them in the packs with an outstanding tripled drop rate. Since an agreement was made between the Montana clan and the Eye, the rate of exchange of Bronze, Silver and Gold Tokenz into CRyptoCoinz has become so favorable that transactions have gone through the roof. More and more mega-fortunes have an account in this “deep web” space that acts as a virtual tax haven and paves the way for a gold-plated pension. As of Monday, September 10th, your Bronze, Silver and Gold Tokenz will be converted into CRyptoCoinz. This new currency will be used to acquire Collector Cards in one unique pack. This change in currency will enable us to simplify the system and to considerably increase all the in-game wins. The CRyptoCoinz officially comes into effect on September 10th following a site maintenance that is expected at approximately 10 AM.

As promised, from Monday August 13th at 2 PM, the competitive EFC room will be given a makeover.Here is the list of changes that will simplify the experience: - Players ranked in the same Zone will receive equal rewards. - All rankings will be deleted EXCEPT for the top 100 positions on the Z Palace zone. - There will be a monthly soft reset. - The hard reset will be removed, no one's score will drop down to 0. - ELO win and loss points will be adjusted downwards. - Points will drop on a sliding scale depending on the player's inactivity. These changes are consistent with those made in Survivor mode, the idea being to simplify the reading and the experience so as to make them more enjoyable in the medium-long term. This will also prepare you for the next updates (scheduled for October) regarding the Fight and Interface sections which will be greatly optimized. She started out for the Portuguese-speaking community and took on the Spanish-speaking community a few years later. Time to commemorate with a huge event! Hello All, After some simplifications and some very generous sponsoring Territorial Feuds is ready, just waiting for your participation. French, Italian and Spanish translations are on the way but English is going to be the language used by the organizers and probably between members of a team so proficiency is needed. Players will be playing in teams of 4 and will be playing as one of the UR clans. Players will have to use cards from their chosen clan only. Every week clans will be able to attack 5 clans of their choice and send a covert attack to any clan of their choice. A covert attack removes 2 lives immediately from any clan. Clans will be able to ally others which means that they will be abel to use cards from the allies clans. A maximum of 2 clans can be allied. Players are allowed to sabotage their clan by purposefully lose their games, benefits are explained in detail on the main event page. Jumping from clan to clan is also allowed, also explained more in detail on the main event page. Clans will start with 18 lives and when reaching 0 they will be eliminated. Hi Everyone, The new EFC season kicks off today! As things stand, every time we release New Blood cards, they coincide with the last week in the EFC season. This has caused a number of problems: - The meta changes at the beginning of the last week, 3 days before the end of the season, leaving players with too little time to get used to and adjust to the new cards. - Having a meta week cut in two for the last EFC week makes it slightly difficult for us to take decisions regarding authorizing or banning certain cards, because the meta is not stable enough. So, on a one-off basis, we've decided to make EFC Season 16 last just three weeks rather than 4. This will mean that from now on, the release of the New Blood cards will coincide with the 1st and 3rd weeks of the EFC, rather than the 2nd and 4th weeks, thus resolving the above-mentioned problems. And of course, all subsequent seasons will once again revert to a duration of 4 weeks. Start date: 23/07 End date: 12/08 A little update to the list of EFC bans will take place later in the week. Hello UR players, The changes to Survivor that we announced last week have just come into effect. The starting Pillz and Life won't change anymore during your run. To start this reform, we have put 12 starting Pillz and 13 starting Life. This change aims to put every clan on the same level. With the Pillz descending, in fact, certain clans (for example: clans with an attack manipulator bonus) had a too big advantage. Hello Clint City, For the new STEAM game interface, we've updated our card design. Please see below for a more in-depth description of the design. Each element is now more sharply delineated, nothing appears to be “floating" any more and everything is easier to read. The most significant changes are to the XP bar that is now smaller and moved further to the left to allow room for miscellaneous information on the right (the number of copies, or an in-fight summary). The Power and Damage icons have been updated to clearly represent fighting “moves”. And the Ability and Bonus icons are now highlighted when activated. The Bonus icon, that has never really been very clear is now symbolized by a broken chain if the Bonus is deactivated and a continuous chain if the Bonus is activated (when you have at least 2 cards from the same clan in your hand). It will be highlighted in blue when the Bonus is activated at Night. The card's basic skin is still in shades of green. The Cr card is golden, the Leaders are red, the Lds purple, the MTs emerald and another skin is already available for what's to follow. To celebrate this new design, be aware that a character has been revamped and it's up to you to find out who! To see all that in combat, be quick to download the Steam version. So, you need to assume that the version is NOT COMPLETED and therefore will have a certain number of bugs. Hello Clint City, As promised, here are the updates for Survivor mode in Beta this summer. These updates concern the server and functionality. So, without any further delay, here is the list of changes: - Increase of the current 45-minute time limit between two matches during a Survivor series to 12 hours - Removal of the T1 room - Removal of the daily and monthly ranking. Instead, we'll just keep the weekly ranking - New format, 12 cards, 60 stars max - Reduced round time to make the mode more exciting: 80/70/60/50 - Increase in all the prizes awarded at the end of the week - Integration of Deathmatch bonuses, that will represent a Clintz bonus at the end of the match: 1/Revenge: To get your revenge on another player: beat them after they've beaten you (not necessarily in a row) => 100 Clintz 2/Persecution: Beat the same player several times (not necessarily in a row) => 150 Clintz 3/Higher score: Beat a player whose Survivor score is higher than yours => 200 Clintz 4/Buzz kill: Beat a player who's in a series of 5 consecutive wins or more => 250 Clintz The Hall of Fame will be kept because the mode is a Beta version. If the mode is not satisfactory, we'll reinstate the Survivor mode as it was before, with its Hall of Fame and 2 rooms. However, if the figures reveal increased participation rates (around 600 players per day, we'd like to double this amount), then this mode will become its final version as of the second update (that only concerns its visuals) and the Hall of Fame will be reset to zero as it will no longer correspond to anything. The second update (visuals) will take place at the same time as the new mobile version, that is, on September 24th on iOS and Web and October 15th on Android. The name of Survivor mode will also be changed then… So, see you on Wednesday June 6th to test out this new Survivor mode!

Hello Urban Rivals players, Tourney: We are currently keeping an eye on Dominion (especially Dookor and #valhala), to observe how the DT meta will shift thank to them.For now, we decided only to ban a few cards who resulted to be too powerful.Soon, once the new clan will be stabilized, we may do another DT update more oriented on balancing the clans ; ) Tourney Type 1: Added to the ban list: Zaveli, #maximus, Dollum, Scarlacc Tourney Type 2: Added to the ban list: #maximus EFC: We keep a daily track of every card played in EFC. We think we may have underestimated the impact of Dollum in the higher zones, as he is featuring datas off the charts. At first, we wanted to see how the Skeelz would perform with only their latest 10 released cards.We always try to give a second chance to new cards, before opting for a ban. However, after a few days, Dollum became too meta-defining, especially for having only 2*, and we think our change had little to no impact. This is why we decided to undo the past week Skeelz change, restoring Plunk and Beck - Nena to the Z Palace, and lowering Dollum to the EFC Tower. This is a very exceptional case, as we change things very rarely in the middle of the season. However, we think this move is necessary to keep the Z Palace meta varied and healthy. Hello, Clint City, As you know, we are currently working on the redesign of the game interface and we're also taking this opportunity to do some code cleaning. The Steam version is the preferred version for our PC players and as of today we're offering access to the current version by giving away 100 Beta keys. Half of the keys will be given to as a priority to our regular shoppers. This limited access will provide us with feedback that we can quickly respond to without being overwhelmed with replies. Below is the timetable of when the keys will be made available for the closed Beta version: -April 13th: 100 keys -April 19th: 50 keys -April 26th: 50 keys - May 4th: 50 keys - May 11th: 50 keys - May 18th: 50 keys - May 25th: 50 keys - May 30th: 100 keys The Steam Open Beta version is scheduled for June 4th 2018. During the summer, we'll continue to work on this version alongside the new Mobile version. Then, by the end of October 2018, the game will be well and truly ready with a revamped interface and some new features. During this development period, we've planned a multitude of in-game events, so you won't have time to get bored, and the festivities will commence with the arrival of a brand-new clan!

When the Arcade's system 5 was relaunched, Cobb found the new interface very different from the original version, so he decided to step in and integrate his own avatar.In this arena-like enclosure, five “hosts”, who should have been eradicated during the reinstallment phase, have started to cement the enclosure…Cobb must contend with several flaws in their behavior, notably the fact that the “hosts” now know how to use the updates to evolve their senses.Help Cobb eradicate these five new arrivals and deactivate the hard drives of the Arcade terminal before the hosts take over.The session starts at 11am. So now, he's studying the species living on Mount Glatz and ensuring their protection. “Beeboy the Big Brother”, the programme that turned the ex-community worker's life upside down. Approached by Gail LD, the charismatic Beeboy left “the street” to devote himself to the programme that is now the new ratings smash by UppTV Cable. But despite its undeniable success, Beeboy has still got just one, all-important priority, and that is his hood and his family. Exhausted by so many years of trying to keep a reign on the tireless Piranas crew, good old Bloodh had run out of the necessary steam to keep those old sea dogs under control. It was when he had to ask for backup from the fearsome Captain Krook that our good old clan chief realized he was past it. So, Bloodh decided it was time to change course and fulfill his dream. Having noticed the recent desertification of the northern part of the city, he stumbled across a rare gem: an old business that was now vacant and just the thing for setting up a rum distillery! What he didn't realize was the type of crowd he'd encounter there… Our 3 companions make the most of Clint City's carnival week to celebrate their retirement among friends. Dear UR players, The time has come to show off your fighting skills in an Event especially designed to do just that. On Wednesday, February 7th from 9pm till midnight (UTC+1), we'll be hosting a very special Coliseum. This Event will give you the chance to square up to the game's admins and to a special guest. As far as you're concerned, the aim, of course, is to obliterate us as many times as possible. There'll be plenty of prizes to play for, even though our main aim is to offer you a fun-packed evening of gaming. We'll stream the Event and will let you know which platform we're using to do that and will send you the link in due course. You can then use it to ask us questions, chat to us and generally have a fun time. Please note that this Event will be the first of a series of Events in the same style. So, if you can't make this one, don't worry, there'll be other opportunities to take part. 3-hour long COLISEUM: Format change every hour: - First hour (9pm to 10pm): Type 2 (over 25 stars) - Second hour (10pm to 11pm): Type 1 (25 stars max.) - Third hour (11pm to midnight): Z Palace (same format as the Z Palace level in EFC) All players will receive between 20, 000 to 25, 000 Clintz for taking part: - The top 300 players will receive 25, 000 Clintz. - The others will receive 20, 000 Clintz. The aim is to score more points than the admins: - In the final ranking, each admin will represent a level offering more and more rewards. - If you beat an admin in a match, you'll receive 1 Gold Tokenz. Level rewards: - On each level, you'll win 4 credits. So, on level 1, you'll win 4 credits, on level 2, you'll win 8, and so on. - On each level, you'll win a card. As with credits, on level 1 you'll win one card, on level 2 you'll win two, etc. The cards you win will be selected by the admins: - Each admin will select a card (based on either its stats, graphics, bio, etc.) and will explain the reasons for their choice to the players. - The cards will be ranked based on their price in Clintz on the Market and will be awarded as level rewards from the least expensive to the most expensive.
