Since Newell's arrival, Dounia's visions have gotten more and more intense, and an image of a place that is familiar and yet totally unknown, is becoming more and more pronounced in her mind. Newell has clearly opened a breach into a dimensional doorway that doesn't seem to be fully sealed. Dounia senses something is happening on the other side and that she's somehow connected to it. So, she's asked her two friends, Scarlett and Manon, to come along and try and convince Newell to tell her about this place he's secretly seen. Newell quickly falls prey to the myriad charms of these two sisters, who surreptitiously pick-pocket him of the microchip that opens up this dimensional breach... So, now Dounia finds herself face to face with her destiny. Will she manage to find the answer to her visions? What is on the other side? And could the Oculus be at the root of all this? Hello UR players, As announced a month ago, here are the changes we made in the Arcade mode: - Unlocking adventures for all seasons will now cost 20 credits each and a Continue will amount to 2 credits everywhere.If you have already unlocked an adventure, you will not have to pay to finish it. - Exceptionally, the first 2 adventures in Season 1 will remain free of charge. Their purpose was to introduce new players to the mode and we think that they should remain as they are. - The bonus seasons will be deactivated next week.We created the bonus seasons as an alternative method to winning Rebirth and Legendary cards. However, this was before we introduced the weekly LD missions. Now that the Rebirth cards no longer exist, we believe that these seasons serve no further purpose.You have one week in which to complete the bonus seasons and gain all the rewards you are missing before their deletion! - Last but not least: get ready for Season 4, coming soon… ; )

Type 1 We saw a lot of clan variety in type 1, with only one clan played much more than the others.We want to try and see how La Junta will perform without Thormund. Type 2 Our last bans (Martha, Quinzel, Brutus and Mona cr) made those clans almost disappear from the room. We decided to restore Quinzel.In addition, we thought about doing a favorable exchange for Montana and Sentinel, aiming to rise a bit their usage without making them dominant.Lehane in and Zrobbie out for Sentinel, Vickie cr in and Lyse Teria cr out for Montana. As part of the final stages of the shop's revamp, the New Blood and Mega packs will be merged into one for ease of use, and this is how the pack will look: New Blood Pack – 5 cards from the latest 45 releases – at least 1 guaranteed Rare card – Price: 28 credits As far as the exclusive cards are concerned, they will ALL be distributed in exactly the same way: - via a limited edition feature pack available from 12 to 72 hours max. - a fortnight later, via the flash missions; the special card will only be available in the Elite packs. Then, two weeks after that, the character will be widely available EXCEPT in the New Blood packs. The special cards will NO LONGER interfere with the New Blood releases and will never form part of these packs.

Hi Everyone, The new EFC season kicks off today! Start date: August 21th End date: September 17th After lots of testing, this is how the matchmaking will work for this season: First of all, the zones come back at a range of 300 points each. From Dark Corners to Polit Arena, you will only be able to fight players that have a maximum of 600 points of distance from you (aka, a maximum of 2 zones of distance). Once you enter Z Palace (1500+ points), you will be able to fight only players in Polit Arena or Z Palace. Once you advance in Z Palace and reach higher scores, you will only be able to play against other players in Z Palace. This method should solve all issues of not receiving enough points when winning, and should allow everyone to always find opponents with quick battle."A little update to the list of EFC bans could take place later in the week. Five years ago, Kenny left the Nightmare manor and Clint City to try and rekindle the sacred flame that had always burned within him, but was mysteriously going out. His quest took him to a monastery on the west of the city, among the disciples of the God Griffonmor, who helped him relight the divine flame. While he was there, he took the opportunity to try and get to the bottom of some other mysteries that had been consuming him. However, certain arcane secrets have remained such for good reason, and as a result of dabbling with them, Kenny lost all control over his powers. Instead, he was transformed into a huge ball of fire that threatened to destroy the entire region. The Rescue clan rushed to the scene, all the way from Clint City, to try and put out the flames. However, the situation rapidly got out of control, and they had no choice but to bring out of the retirement the city's bravest and most skilled firefighter, Alec. Although Alec accepted the mission, he was quickly forced to face facts: the only way to put out the blaze would be to explode the very core of the fire. And the only way to do that would be for someone to sacrifice themselves. As far as Alec was concerned there was no way he was going to let anyone else do that job for him...

Hi Everyone, The new EFC season kicks off today! The main issue you raised was to do with the number of points needed to reach the Z Palace zone. This was thought to be too high, which explains why so few players had managed to reach it. We have therefore made the following changes: to reach Z Palace, you'll need 1, 250 points rather than 1, 500. This equates to 250 points per zone rather than 300! Start date: June 26th End date: July 23th This should make it easier for everyone to reach the higher zones and win the top prizes! We'll continue to distribute 10 cards (rare or LD ones) to the top 10 players of Z Palace every week, and 10 Mythic cards to the top 10 Z Palace players at the end of the season. So, it's highly likely that some new Mythic cards will make an appearance! And saving the best for last! Tomorrow will see an update of the EFC list of bans. Happy gaming! With regard to event packs and other operations, we'd like to inform you that there will no longer be any deals on credits. These took place when we were in partnership with Playdigious. We are still by far the cheapest TCG on the market and our business model allows us to deliver high quality at very low prices. The graphic quality of our characters and comics has clearly evolved, while our prices have not. For example, a Titanium that used to cost 250 credits, can now be purchased for a mere 180 credits. A Comic only costs €2, and we believe it is certainly not worth any less than that. These credit promotions went totally against this sense of worth, which is why we've decided to put a stop to them.

Hello guys! Here there is a little update regarding EFC and Daily Tournaments. On EFC, we decided to limit Surstorming and Flora to the first 4 EFC zones (up to EFC Tower).We analysed carefully the meta in Polit Arena, where is now playing the majority of players at high EFC ranks.We spotted a number too big of Roots and Piranas decks. Surstorming and Flora in particular featured match win rates and play rates extremely high. For the sake of balancing of the mode, we thought it was best to intervene and try to fix this anomaly.The next update will come at the release of the next season. On DT T1, we saw a dominance of La Junta mono decks. We decided to try a swap, Thormund for Floyd, in order to reduce a bit their two-shots capabilities.Also, we decided to remove from the ban list Lea. Rescue are now almost nonexistent in the TQ T1 meta, we would like to help them a little. On DT T2, we saw a dominance of a trio of clans: Sentinel, Hive and Raptors. In order to change the meta a bit, instead of banning other cards for them, we kept the same principle of the previous ban lists and we tried to restore some competitive cards to the least played clans.This change is a test and an update will come soon if the results won't be positive. Hi Everyone, First of all, we would like to draw your attention to the list of rewards for the end of this first season, which you'll find by clicking on the following link: /help/ The ELO Fighting Championship mode was launched three months ago and the first season has now come to an end. There have been lots of positive comments about this new competitive mode despite some initial concerns. This Beta season, as we've called it, has given us the chance to analyze the behavior of both the players and the mode and to draw certain conclusions from it. A large number of players reached the final level of the league with scores of over 2000 points. We would like to congratulate all these players who clearly demonstrated that it wasn't so hard to adjust to the different levels. We also want deck building to become an important part of EFC as this will hopefully prevent the ELO stagnation of old, classic decks. Currently, this feature of the game is a lot more fun and although it still requires a lot of tweaking, with the arrival of the future New Bloods, we will continue to strengthen the clans with the aim of creating more diversity. The current season will end on Sunday, May 28th at 11.59pm (GMT+1) to make way for the second season that starts on Monday. The biggest change we've made concerns the length of the season. One comment that came up time and time again regarding this new mode related to its duration, which many of you judged to be too long. As a result, this new season will be considerably shorter and will run for just 4 weeks. We envisage that making this season two thirds shorter than the previous one may well have a direct impact on certain aspects of the game and the ranking system, which is why we've decided not to make any other changes for the time being. Please find below the details of the “Alpha” EFC League. Changes to visible rewards here: /help/ The Alpha season will begin on Monday, May 29th, running for a total of 4 weeks and ending on June 25th at 11.59 (GMT+1). The structure of the levels (zones, etc.) will not change in the Alpha version. A new list of banned characters will also be announced on May 29th. The 5 matches from the start of the week rule will be maintained, and the deck format will be based on your score from the previous week. These changes and adjustments are not definitive as we are now entering the second and final testing phase of the EFC mode – the Alpha version. It is therefore possible that we may change some of the game parameters over the course of the season if there is an urgent requirement to do so. We are striving for an even more lively and competitive season than the last, and the rewards have been adjusted accordingly to stimulate performance. We've realized how frustrating it can be to have to wait to get your hands on Legendary cards you don't yet own, which is why we've decided to change the system. From now on it couldn't be easier: Every week, you'll have the chance to complete 5 missions, which will earn you a randomly selected LD card THAT YOU DO NOT YET OWN. But of course if you already have all the LD cards, you'll receive an alternative reward. These sets of missions will replace all the other sets of daily missions. Finally, the alternative reward for owners of Nega D LD and Kommondon LD will be on a par with their spending in Arcade mode. So, are you ready to complete your Collection??

As the new EFC season is about to start, we are carefully checking the usage of every clan in Z Palace. Today we are focusing in trying to keep in check the SoA clans.They represent a crucial part of the mode balancing, as we want to make them playable as ‘anti-meta' choice to counter unstable cards with strong abilities, but not to make them too popular and make them become ‘the meta'. Right now, Roots and Gheist are definitely used too much. We will address the issue in 2 ways: 1) We will start to release more ‘cancel' and ‘SoA' cards (as well as damage reducers) in the following NB waves, in order to give every clan a way to stop certain threats 2) We will do the following changes to Roots and Gheist: GHEIST: - Modification to Jaxx Ld ability, from defat: growth: -1 opp life min 2 to defat: growth: -1 opp life min 3Jaxx Ld is currently the gheist card with the highest match win rate.This slight change should make the card a little more balanced, while keeping its synergy with the poison cards of the clans. ROOTS: - Ban in Z Palace for Leliana (Bishop automatically comes back)We had a doubt between Mildred, the most used card of the clan, and Leliana, the card with the highest win rate of the clan.Since banning a level 2 card would have made the clan too difficult to be played, in order to keep the clan in balance with their levels, we banned Leliana. These changes will permit us to keep Gheist and Roots still playable, but hopefully a bit less preponderant in room.We will keep a close eye this week about how this change will impact the play rate and win rate of the 2 clans. The next update will come next monday. We're all familiar with the star system that has been a constant feature on our profile pages. And although these 5 stars have served us well over the years, they don't seem to packing so much of a punch these days. Poorly categorized and a bit old-school, we've decided to revamp them. So, the stars are now going to make way for a badge system that is easier to categorize and reflects all the different aspects of the game. These badges will be broken up as follows: - DT Bronze – Silver – Gold - Survivor Bronze – Silver – Gold - EFC Bronze – Silver – Gold - Collection Bronze – Silver – Gold - Seniority Bronze – Silver – Gold The DT badge will be awarded in line with the number of daily tournaments you've taken part in and have completed in the top 10. The Survivor badge will be based on your score. The EFC badge will be unlocked according to the league you've reached and your ranking. The Collection badge will be calculated on how evolved your collection is. And finally, the Seniority badge will be awarded based on when you first registered for the game. Hello Clint City, Today, we want to talk about card rareness, and more specifically about Collector cards that are one of the ultimate goals of any collector. Just to remind you, all the cards in the game can potentially become Collectors. So, what exactly does that entail? The card is no longer distributed through the shop's packs, and can only be found on the Market. As a result, these cards are no longer created and become more and more rare. This was the case a few years ago when the Collectors first came on the scene. But to give players who weren't doing so well in ELO a chance to get their hands on them, we created Tokenz. Thanks to Tokenz, that you either win in-game or earn through promotions, you can now open the Collector coffers. Of course you have to have 100 of these Tokenz, which fortunately is still quite a challenge, but the distribution of these Collectors is not really interrupted. It is just significantly slowed down although their numbers can still grow on the Market. In order to achieve this sense of rareness, and for it to work well alongside the Tokenz system, we're going to supplement the Collector cards with a new and ultimate rare card which we've called the Mythic Card. Mythic Cards will be the last link in the chain: a Collector card that becomes Mythic will permanently disappear from the “coffers” and will only be found on the Market or distributed in the top rankings of the EFC mode. The 3 Collector coffers will make way for a sole “Collector” pack in the shop. When you select it, you'll have to choose which category you're interested in (Bronze, Silver or Gold), and buy the card with the corresponding 100 Tokenz. How does a card become Mythic? The evolution to Mythic card will be announced, but the character will not be revealed. It will be totally secret. The only condition will be that the card was previously a Collector card. The color marking out their rareness will be emerald, and they'll have a special visual effect during combat. Every Mythic card you play will give you a constant boost of wins multiplied by 5 (Clintz/Battle points). To sum up: any card can become a Collector (but distributed in Tokenz packs), every Collector (rarely distributed) can become Mythic (no longer distributed except on the Market and in EFC mode). Hi Everyone, In this update, we've focused on collectors and market enthusiasts. 1- Multiple sales: - Return of level and quantity selectors on the collection's minicards. - The pro collection's sale popup now allows you to change both prices and quantities on selected cards. The minimum market price is displayed for each card by default. 2- Ranking collectors: - Real-time ranking of collections - The points system awarded to each card is as follows: Common = 5 points per evolution. Unusual = 10 points per evolution. Rare = 15 points per evolution. Bronze Collector = 30 points per evolution. Silver Collector = 40 points per evolution. Gold Collector = 50 points per evolution. Legendary = 60 points per character Bonus points for the Big5 = 50 points per evolution. Bonus for acquiring all the legendary cards = 500 points. Bonus for collecting an entire clan with all its evolutions = 500 points Please note: Every evolution of each character must be displayed in your collection for the points to be counted. You'll therefore need 2 to 5 copies of each character. (Except Legendary characters of which there is only one copy) We felt that the system of ranking by level didn't do justice to all the different aspects of the game, as we all have varying objectives: - XP to increase in level - To become a pro in EFC, the DTs and in Survivor mode - To complete a full collection With regards to this last point, which we feel is one of the game fundamentals, we've decided to install a ranking system which we may well improve and add to as time goes on. Hello UR players, This update will take place during the day on Friday. The penalty system never succeeded in winning the hearts of players because it isn't easy to understand and has a few flaws.Its major one was undoubtedly the possibility to fight players who were unaware of this rule and thus had many penalty cards in their decks: this resulted in them ending up with a negative score while making their opponent lose precious time and points. We have decided to remove these penalties and to introduce a list of banned characters into these rooms.To start with, the ban list will be the same for both DT Type 1 and Type 2 rooms.Later on, the two rooms could have their own different ban lists. For this first ban list, we have excluded the characters that used to feature on the -25 and -3 penalty lists, with the exceptional addition of Quetzal and Maana Cercei. TQ ban lists will be updated once a month.Feel free to share your suggestions regarding further lists in the space below. The update will take place during the day on Friday. Happy gaming!

Hi there, Urban Rivals players, As of today, we're going to change how we distribute legendary cards. We realize how frustrating it can be having to wait months on end before a particular legendary card is released. We also noticed that you seemed to enjoy the Noctezumma flash mission which generated more interest and rewards in EFC mode. So we've come up with a new system that combines both these ideas. Up until now, there have been two ways of getting hold of LD cards:1) Playing in Arcade Mode2) Completing a set of 5 legendary missions. There were 2 sets of missions every fortnight. From now on, every Monday, we're going to create 5 flash missions that will expire on Sunday. The missions will be as follows: - Reach 200 points in EFC - Reach 400 points in EFC -Reach 600 points in EFC - Reach 800 points in EFC - Reach 1000 points in EFC Every week, EACH mission will be rewarded with a different legendary card.If you already have that LD card, you'll receive 10 credits instead. These missions won't replace the LD sets of missions that you've had up until now.But rest assured, we'll carry on adding new flash and permanentmissions from time to time! Saint Patrick's Day is coming up and true to style; the Uppers will be presiding over the grand reception organized by Dorian. The citizens of Clint City are of course invited and everyone can make the most of the occasion to enjoy a little tournament organized under the new EFC rules. And if some of you have not yet had the chance to reach the last three levels of the famous league, now's your chance to get up to speed. The event will take place in three phases whose formats are based on the last three levels of EFC: 1. “Tús maith, leath na hoibre” from 03/17 to 03/20: All players must challenge a player from the event in a winning match. The 64 players who beat their opponents will move on to the next phase. Rules of EFC, Danger Zone. 2. “Is í ding di féin a scoileann an dair.” from 03/20 to 03/24: All players must challenge all the players from their group in two winning matches. The two players with the most points in each group will move on to the final phase. *64 players divided into 8 groups. *2 winning matches, 8 different groups, each player against the 7 other players from his/her group. Hello Clint City, Today is an important day for us as we can finally reveal to you what we have been so hard at work on for the past few months. So, without further ado, please see below for a description of just what this game update has to offer: - New avatars linked to your skinbox website. - A new market page that you can access by clicking on your Clintz/credits total. - New graphics when opening packs of cards, Clintz and Collectors. - A new deck builder that offers the possibility of creating a deck from scratch and being able to manage it more easily. - A guild chat. - Fully revised fighting graphics: everything will now be on the same scene to increase speed. - During combat, there will be chat emoticons that can be easily accessed by clicking on our avatar. - The Divinity+ rankings have an additional special smiley. - A new ELO, christened the EFC (ELO Fighting Championship), which will be the new league system*. Of course, there has been a testing, debugging and completion phase. This version will also be the new WebGL version that will replace its now obsolete predecessor in Flash. It will remain in Beta for the time being as we continue to improve upon it week by week. We are also going to be present on the Facebook GameRoom and will be back on the Kongregate website before long. The old site will be permanently closed down. And since the new game mode and version of WebGL are not compatible with the old website, we will no longer be maintaining this now obsolete site. We hope all these changes will breathe new life into the game and will fire you up to achieve your best scores ever! Hi there, Urban Rivals players, On Friday 17th of next week, the ELO mode will be replaced by our new Leagues mode that will be released at the same time as many other improvements to our new app. Below is a step-by-step process of what will happen to ELO: - The current ELO week will be the last and final one. To mark this special occasion, all ELO prizes in Tokenz will be doubled. Next Monday, the ELO room will not reopen and a new Leagues room will instead open on Friday 17th. - The ELO top scores will disappear from players' profiles and will be replaced by the "Leagues' top scores”. However, the ELO Hall of Fame will not be removed, so you will still be able to find a record of all the ELO top scores there. - All the missions from the ELO mode will be replaced by Leagues mode missions. Missions based on “reaching a score of X in ELO” will be removed and new missions based on achieving certain scores in Leagues mode will be added. - The deck formatting rule that says “Your Deck cannot contain characters banned by staff in ELO mode” will be removed. If you organize an event using this rule, please recreate the format manually by excluding the cards currently banned in ELO on a case by case basis. - All “ELO” classed presets will now be classed in the "Normal" category. Here I will explain you the reasons of these changes: The cards with -25 are cards that shouldn't be used in the mode. - Cards too strong that can single-handedly win alone a match (ex: Ymirah, Kiki Cr) - Cards that can easily one-hit-KO the opponent (ex:Kolos, Raven) - Cards ‘against the TQ logic' (ex: strong damage reducers like Graksmxxt orVholt, strong + life cards likeKalindra CrorBridget) Avolahas been moved in this category since it can one-shot too easily withIcaro. The cards with -3 are cards that require a huge toll in the deck building. You should use them only if you feel they are crucial in your strategy. - Cards that have been abused as splash instead than being played in their clan (ex: Spyke) - Cards that are extremely powerful in the mode, but not game-breaking like the -25 ones (ex:Alec Cr, Lehane) Phoebeand Beck-Nena have been moved in this category. The cards with -1 are strong cards that have been used too much in the past without penalties. You need to decide if playing them anyway, or if using another card of the clan less powerful, but without malus. Many leaders fall in this category as well. Isatis, Oscar, Robb Cr, SakiandCobypassed here. We think these are really strong cards indeed, but they can be healthy for the format, increasing variety without being game-breaking. Hello UR players, We've recently read comments from players complaining about the fact that a low score in ELO in the top 100 can be better rewarded than a high ELO score, because of the lottery that enables you to randomly win CR cards. So, we would like to introduce a small change that we hope will lead to players being more fairly rewarded. This is to only enter the top 50, rather than the top 100, players into the prize draw. We will test this out for two weeks: for this ELO week from January 9th to 15th and for the following week from January 16th to 22nd. Happy gaming!

However, he had to admit that El Gringo had been brave to enter the ring with him, so he's decided to offer him a place in the clan. And given how long El Gringo's been working on his wrestling techniques, he jumped at the chance to finally join the ranks of the pros!
With Quetzal fresh in town, there was finally a real claimant to the Golden Throne and perhaps even a future leader of the Huracan clan. However, that idea was not quite to everyone's liking: a reckless individual, rumored to be an All Stars member, was spreading the word that not only would he be the new boss of the Huracan clan but that he'd eliminate anyone who stood in his way. Unfortunately for him, these rumors filtered through to Quetzal who was determined to silence this wise-guy once and for all. And that is how Clint City's "great fight for the Golden Throne" came into being and how the Huracan finally found out who their new boss would be.
