Some students arrive at the Skeelz academy by heritage, others by merit. Izandro, however, arrived there by accident. One ordinary afternoon in a municipal library, a dusty shelf, an old book on extinct animal species... and poof, teleported right into a magical admission ritual. Since then, no one has been able to say whether he was chosen by the school... or if he chose it himself. Initially, Izandro mastered nothing — especially not the creatures he summoned. Mischievous astral otters constantly swirled around him, casting random spells or stealing other students' sandwiches. But behind his shy demeanor, Izandro already showed a unique bond with familiar spirits. Encouraged by Strixine, he became a Spirit Awakener, capable of forging a pact with the primordial creatures of the invisible world...
