In the dusty West, between two dunes of ashes and charred memories, lie the ruins of an old abandoned courthouse: Purgatory Courthouse. It was there that Gamber Gus, a crooked lawyer, dispensed his "justice," dressed in a robe stained with gold and cheap whiskey. People still remember his predatory smile, his sparkling monocle, and his habit of having contracts signed in invisible ink. For a few old clintz, he would free the worst criminals, send innocents to the gallows, or sell cursed lands. There's even a rumor that he sold the soul of an entire village... without ever reading the fine print. One evening, while counting his stolen gold coins, Gus had a heart attack. But even in Death's corridor, he tried one last trick. Before the Judge, he played his ultimate card: he presented himself as the Lawyer of the Damned, capable of saving a soul from a duel with just a check... or condemning it for a misplaced comma. The exchange was brief: a handshake, and Gus secured a place among the Ghostown.
